Calm Tree: Causes entities to cease hostilities for a given amount of time.
Level 2 Calm: Causes ALL creatures within a small area to become calm and cease hostilities. All creatures (including adventurers) in the area of effect will pick up their belongings and leave the area peacefully. This spell has no effect in the presence of undead or demons. Area remains affected for 15 minutes.
Level 3 Aura of Calm: The target of the spell is wrapped in a holy shield. He or she cannot be attacked but can make no hostile actions either. The affected being may cast beneficial spells on allies and they may move. This spell affects normal creatures, undead and demons of lesser level than the caster. This spell lasts for 2 minutes.
Level 4 Peace: Causes ALL creatures within a small area to become peaceful and cease hostilities. All creatures (including adventurers) in the area of effect will pick up their belongings and leave the area calmly. This includes undead and demons. Area remains affected for 30 minutes.
Level 5 Holy Ground: Creates a 20’x20’ area in which ALL creatures (including adventurers) cannot engage in hostilities. Any creature may remain in this zone that normally would not wish the caster ill. This spell lasts until sunrise the follow day.
Create Magic Trap Tree: Creates trigger-able magic traps on objects. *See trap rules
Level 1 Create Trap: Creates a 1st level trap
Level 2 Create Trap: Creates a 2nd or lower level trap
Level 3 Create Trap: Creates a 4th or lower level trap
Level 4 Create Trap: Creates a 6th or lower level trap. Can stack to produce an 8th level trap, but after the initial casting only adds one level to the trap (so three level 4 create trap spells would be required to produce an 8th level trap).
Level 5 Create Trap: Creates a 7th or lower level trap. Can stack to produce an 8th level trap.
Create Rune Tree:Allows a caster to create and empower a runes, glyph, sigils, and wards.
Level 2 Create Rune: Allows a caster to create and empower a single Rune. Must be anchored to a fixed object or location.
Level 3 Create Gylph: Allows the creation of a magical Glyph that can hold up to 10 levels of spells, none of which can be higher than third level. Glyphs are permanent until destroyed, although they can be deactivated for 1 day by the casting of a Destroy Magic 3 or higher. It can follow simple causal instructions. Must be anchored to a fixed object or location.
Level 4 Create Sigil: Allows the creation of a magical Sigil that can hold up to 10 levels of spells, none of which can be higher than fourth level. Sigils are permanent until destroyed, although they can be deactivated for 1 day by the casting of a Destroy Magic 4 or higher. It can follow complex causal instructions. Must be anchored to a fixed object or location.
Level 5 Create Ward: Allows the creation of a magical Ward that can hold up to 10 levels of spells, none of which can be higher than fifth level. Wards are permanent until destroyed, although they can be deactivated for 1 day by the casting of a Destroy Magic 5 or higher. It can follow complex instructions. Must be anchored to a fixed object or location.
Death Lights Tree: The caster creates lights that reveal information surrounding a mysterious death. Only available to those who have a spirituality of +3 or higher.
Level 2 Death Glow: Gives a general sense of the surroundings of a person’s death, but only if the bones are present.
Level 3 Death Lights: Causes illusionary lights to replay a death scene, but only if the corpse or object causing death is present.
Level 4 Death Omen: Causes illusionary lights to replay a death scene if the corpse or object is present, and lets you know relevant information the death has for the events in the present.
Destroy Magic Tree: This spell tree permanently destroys charges on items or dissipates cast spells. At lower levels it will not destroy items completely, it will only remove charges.
Level 1 Destroy Magic: Destroys one previously cast 1st level magic spell.
Level 2 Destroy Magic: Destroys one previously cast 2nd or lower level magic spell.
Level 3 Destroy Magic: Destroys one previously cast 3rd or lower level magic spell.
Level 4 Destroy Magic: Destroys one previously cast 4th or lower level magic spell.
Level 5 Destroy Magic: Destroys one previously cast 5th or lower level magic spell. This has the potential to lower the power level of enchanted items or abilities, or destroy permanent channeled items.
Detect Aura: This level 1 spell reveals the aura and level of any creature or person who is unprotected from this spell.
Detect Power Tree: This spell tree gives you information about the power of an object.
Level 1 Detect Power: Detects the presence of a power on one object or one person
Level 2 Detect Power: Detects the presence of a power on one object or one person and gives you a color associated with the power
Level 3 Detect Power: Detects the presence of a power on one object or one person, gives you the color associated with the power, and the name of the person or entity associated with the power.
Detect Spirit Tree: Reveals information about the nature of a spirit.
Level 1 Detect Spirit: Detects the presence and primary color of a spirit.
Level 2 Detect Spirit: Detects the presence and colors of a spirit. Besides the primary aura color, this spell reveals shades, bands and flecks.
Level 3 Detect Spirit: Detects the presence and colors of up to 3 spirits in close proximity to each other. Besides the primary aura color, this spell reveals shades, bands and flecks.
Level 4 Detect Spirit: Detects the presence and colors of up to 5 spirits in close proximity to each other. Besides the primary aura color, this spell reveals shades, bands and flecks.
Level 5 Graveyard Knock: Detects the presence and colors of all spirits in a graveyard, room or 20' radius area. Besides the primary aura color, this spell reveals shades, bands and flecks.
Disenchant Tree: This spell tree drains magic vessels completely of their powers / charges. Disenchant destroys things preferentially in this order: Channeled items, tattoos, scrolls, then alchemical items. The spell starts at items with the same level as the spell, and if no level appropriate items are present it will seek out items of lower levels in the order above. If no appropriate vessels are present at all the spell will have no effect.
Level 2 Disenchant: Disenchants Level 1 vessels
Level 3 Disenchant: Disenchants Level 2 vessels
Level 4 Disenchant: Disenchants Level 3 vessels
Level 5 Disenchant: Disenchants Level 4 vessels
Erase Rune Tree: Destroys runes, glyphs, and sigils.
Level 3 Erase Rune: Destroys a single rune when cast directly onto it.
Level 4 Erase Gylph: Destroys any one glyph when cast directly onto it.
Level 5 Erase Sigil: Destroys any one Sigil when cast directly onto it.
Exorcism Tree: Expels spirits from their hosts.
Level 2 Exorcism: Expels a minor spirit {G,W} from an unwilling host, or causes 6 points of damage directly to a spirit not within a living host.
Level 3 Exorcism: Expels weak spirits {G,W} from an area, or a more powerful spirit from an unwilling host {Br, G},or causes 8 points of damage directly to a spirit not within a living host.
Level 4 Exorcism: Expels more powerful spirits {Y,R} from any host body or object, or does 10 points of damage directly to a spirit not within a living host.
Level 5 Exorcism: Expels all spirits except black ones from a host body, place, or object, or does 20 points of damage to a specific spirit not within a living host.
False Divine Message: This level 4 spell sends an untrue, but completely believable message to a follower of a spirit god.
Fashion Aura: This level 5 spell can be applied to a living being or spirit. Fools Detect Aura or Detect Spirit spells into revealing the specific aura of a unique being. The caster must be familiar with the aura to create counterfeit of it. Lasts for one week.
Feign Death: This level 1 spell causes the target of the spell to appear dead and repugnant. This will not stop the player from being looted but it will cause undead, trolls or any other carnivores to leave the body unmolested.
Hypnotism: This level 2 spell puts a creature into a trance for 1 minute, during which time he may be asked up to 3 questions, but cannot be harmed. In order to ask\understand the questions or answers, the caster must speak or understand somehow the native language of the creature. The creature will answer simply, but truthfully. After the third question the spell elapses even if the minute has not yet expired.
Hypnotic Pattern: This level 3 spell causes 1-3 targets to become confused and take no offensive action for 1 minute.
Knock: This level 2 spell allows caster to find a secret entrance or exit. Can also be used to open locks of up to 2nd level.
Mask Aura Tree: Fools Detect Aura into revealing a different aura
Level 1 Mask Aura: Fools a Detect Aura spell into revealing a weak, normal person. Lasts one week.
Level 2 Mask Aura: Fools a Detect Aura spell into revealing a random aura. Lasts one week.
Level 3 Mask Aura: Fools a Detect Aura spell into revealing the Aura and Level of the caster’s choice. Lasts for one week.
Mask Spirit Aura Tree: Fools Detect Spirit spells into revealing a different color aura.
Level 2 Mask Spirit Aura: Fools Detect Spirit spells into revealing a grey spirit aura. Lasts for one week.
Level 3 Mask Spirit Aura: Fools Detect Spirit spells into revealing the Aura and Level of the caster’s choice. Lasts for one week.
Penetrate Aura: This level 3 spell reveals the aura and level of any creature or person even if they are protected from this spell by a Mask Aura.
Permanence: This level 5 spell creates one permanent magic item of the Metaphysical sphere when cast in conjunction with the desired spell.
Philter Tree: Allows the creation of potions and dusts as long as the caster has the necessary alchemical components.
Level 1 Philter: Allows a character to create a 1st level potion\dust with the correct components.
Level 2 Philter: Allows a character to create a 2nd level potion\dust with the correct components.
Level 3 Philter: Allows a character to create a 3rd level potion\dust with the correct components.
Level 4 Philter: Allows a character to create a 4th level potion\dust with the correct components.
Poltergeist Tree: This level 3 spell summons a weak spirit {G,W} to do some small deed.
Possession: This level 3 spell allows a known spirit of any power to communicate through your body. This spirit may have to be forced from the body afterwards, if it does not wish to leave, but the level of communication and understanding will be much greater if this spell is used, and the possessed gains some of the abilities of the spirit housed within them.
Protected Summon Spirit: This level 5 spell allows a character call into the spirit realm and guide a willing spirit to the caster's location. The spell provides the caster with the with protection against being ensnared by the punishment of a black spirit as well as one attempted corruption by a yellow spirit.
Speak-With Tree: Allows caster to communicate with those no longer in the realm of the living as long as you know their name and are at their grave site or have one of their bones.
Level 1 Seance: Allows communication with white, gray or brown spirits only. This spell does leave the character open to attacks or possessions by the spirit.
Level 2 Speak with Spirit: Opens a line of psychic communication to a spirit, whose name or recognized title must be known. This spell does leave the caster vulnerable to attacks or possessions by the affected spirit.
Level 3 Protected Speak with Spirits: Allows a character to speak with a Black spirit (as per Speak with Spirit spell) with protection against being ensnared by the punishment of the spirit.
Level 4 Speak with Dead: Allows the caster to speak with a person\creature that has been dead for up to 100 years per level of the invoker. The dead will be disturbed and prone to hostility by this spell, as it will bring them back from the Beyond, and return their consciousness to their bones.
Level 5 Ouija: Allows the caster to speak with a spirit or dead person/creature that has been dead for up to 100 years per level of the invoker. The dead will be disturbed and prone to hostility by this spell, as it will bring them back from the Beyond, and return their consciousness to their bones. However the caster need not be at the grave site or have a bone, but they can only get simple answers to their questions rather than the normal full fledged conversation.
Spectral Blade: This level 4 spell converts all physical damage of a weapon to magical damage.
Spirit Binding: This level 4 spell provides the raw magic necessary to bind a willing spirit to an object, forcing it to serve the possessor of the object for a set, limited number of services. Unwilling spirits must be forced into the object.
Spirit Shield Tree: Protects the caster from hostile contact from spirits.
Level 1 Spirit Shield: Allows caster to disengage from a spirit contact at will, and will absorb up to 4 points of damage for the duration of one encounter. Each spell will allow you protection from one attempted corruption by a yellow spirit. Maintaining contact with that spirit will allow it to reach beyond this spell.
Level 2 Spirit Shield: Allows caster to disengage from a spirit contact at will, and will absorb up to 8 points of damage for the duration of one encounter. Each spell will allow you protection from one attempted corruption by a yellow spirit. Maintaining contact with that spirit will allow it to reach beyond this spell.
Level 3 Spirit Shield: Allows caster to disengage from a spirit contact at will, and will absorb up to 12 points of damage for the duration of one encounter. Each spell will allow you protection from one attempted corruption by a yellow spirit. Maintaining contact with that spirit will allow it to reach beyond this spell.
Level 4 Spirit Shield: Allows caster to disengage from a spirit contact at will, and will absorb up to 16 points of damage for the duration of one encounter. Each spell will allow you protection from one attempted corruption by a yellow spirit. Maintaining contact with that spirit will allow it to reach beyond this spell.
Spirit Quest: This level 4 spell allows the character to utilize energies from the Spirit Realm or enter that realm to have a greater chance of completing a quest for a spirit.
Spirit Writer: This level 3 spell invokes a benign ghost\spirit to communicate through your unconsciousness.
Summon Item Tree: Summons items to the caster. Leaves a magical trace that when detected will link it to the summoner. Know that summoning items that are not yours can be classified as stealing.
Level 1 Summon Item: Summons a non-valuable, non-magical item.
Level 2 Summon Item: Summons a semi-valuable or low powered magical item (1st or 2nd level).
Level 3 Summon Item: Allows you to summon from any distance one item that you have had in your possession recently, provided that it is not warded against such a spell.
Level 4 Summon Item: Allows you to summon from any distance all personal items recently owned that are not warded against such a spell. Note: It is possible that some of the items may have been used up between the time they were taken/lost and the casting of this spell.
Treasured Possession: This level 4 spell extends the time that a item can be summoned. This spell must be cast on the item while it is in your possession. The spell is permanent. As long as the caster of this spells has had possession of the item for longer than the current owner it can be summoned from the current owner.
Thought Transfer: This level 1 spell allows caster to send a thought or a message to any willing\unwarded character.
