War Drums Beating
August 2017
Empowered by the energy harvested from purple rune-sticks, Arboleth’s goblins were able to create ten amulets that together were able to spread the blight. Intending to blame humans for the blight’s spread, they hoped to cause a rift in the alliance between men and Elves, and leave both weaker to future attacks. Their plot discovered, adventurers were able to repair relations with the White Lady, and de-power the amulets, and the recently spread blight is beginning to heal again

Thaleus’s Ruse
May 2018
Thaleus, notorious for his wild tricks and hatred for the elves, seemed to have put together a grand scheme to thwart the White Ladies ritual. Unfortunately for the adventurers, Thaleus’s master deceptions got the better of the adventurers when they quickly scooped up many of the metal objects placed by Thaleus to curse them, and the objects’ true purpose remained an enigma to them until the very end. Furthermore, upon agreeing to share the treasure inside a hidden box, both Terry and Lahar we’re cursed to rage and kill townspeople upon hearing the music of Dayswane. Lahar later was possessed by Ro to slay and bury her fellow members. Megara was possessed a multitude of times despite no reward, in hopes that maybe one time, the spirit would have a change of heart. After the many curses, possessions, and pointless exorcisms, the group finally decided to come in contact with the White Lady's emissary, who asked for aid in the ceremony. Terry agreed to help, but all the while Furion slowly corrupted most of the members with a Thaleus’s mirror shard. All but Lahar and Terry were possessed, and the ceremony was then interrupted by a baby troll summoned by the 4 corrupted adventurers. The consequences of the interruption of the ceremony is yet unknown.

Restoration of Fallenstar
August 2018
Tired of the decline of Fallenstar’s fortunes, a small group of young adventurers banded together to find out and repair the malaise that hung over the area. Discovering that the wards that had protected the town over the centuries had been drained by the Nihilist years before, they investigated what the consequences of that event were. They found that the town trade reputation had been damaged over time, the relationship with the Elves had drifted, and most dangerously, that a rising necromancer had revived some of the spirits of Whitestone to serve some devious purpose. With most of the town Elders gone, the party decided to take matters into their own hands. Through a series of difficult quests and great personal sacrifice, they were able to re-establish the majority of the wards to working status. In doing so, they were rewarded by Jequa’s town trust. Strange hints of ancient mysteries were uncovered, the Golden mushroom ring found once again, and they even made the discovery of a long forgotten Elven gravesite in the Shadowlands. Ties with the White Lady were restored as Ranu appeared by her side, the Boon of the Fool was placed, the animosity between the Fool and the Nihilist was revealed, and many personal secrets were discovered. The mood of the town was brightened, new shops opened, and traveling merchants started to appear again as Fallenstar began to reclaim its place as the center of the Light with the emergence of a new group of heroes.

God’s day
May 2019
On this glorious day, from the earth came the Muse board, a physical manifestation of the will of the gods. Branded with runes, the gods unveiled their plans, and asked for aid from the adventurers in their quests. Gods old and new alike placed their faith in the adventurers to carry out their plans, both good and evil. The adventurers carried out these many tasks, along with the aid of a certain cloaked man, who helped the adventurers finish the more evil tasks asked of them. After all the quests were fulfilled, the board glowed with a magical orange aura, and burst open into a narrow hall of forgotten lore. The adventurers were then each given the choice to take one piece of lore and leave. Before entering, however, Mycar mass entrapped the squad of people and teleported away with something in his hands.

Cult of Ash - Protecting the heart
August 2019
The Cult of Ash made its debut in this age by summoning two Worms from the realm of monsters during a rare magical event where dual portaling was possible. Led by the half-demon priestess Mael and her right-hand man Cethleann, their goal was to snuff out the fledgling era of Light, and keep the Phoenix from rising again. The cult worshiping the fallen Phoenix was thought to have died out thousands of years ago, after being hunted down by great school mages. Their accidental discovery after centuries of secrecy came when one of their newest initiates was killed by the recently re-establsished wards while he was carrying a detailed journal of the cults recent actions. He described the summoning of the twin worms Kauket and Ne-hebkau, who were chaos and order incarnate, and who were bonded so that where one went the other must follow. Ne-Hebkau was slain by the cult in order to lessen its orderly influence on the world, and its heart was intended for use to bind Kauket to the area around the Heart of the Phoenix. Adventurers thankfully interrupted this binding ceremony, slaying some of the cultists and Kauket before it could be completed.

The Three Armies
July 2021
Adventurers find themselves pressed for time when they learn the Talon of Souls is being transported from the necromancers citadel to an unknown location nearby town. Through various secret meetings, notes, misinformation, and visions, the adventurers found themselves spying on the meeting of two armies, the cult of the necromancer and the cult of the pentangle. Tensions were high between the two armies, but none were willing to attack. That is, until the elven army and Ranu, alerted to the brewing trouble by Lahar and Raith, arrived for battle. Flanking the two armies, the elves routed the two sides and the hidden adventurers used the chaos to sneak into the ranks of the necromancer cult to steal the Talon of Souls.
Sapphire and Raven, to their surprise, found the cloaked man guarding the Talon, alongside Zerhan the Deathless. The cloaked figure quickly stabbed Zerhan, and teleported with both the Talon and Raven elsewhere, whilst also transporting Sapphire to safety. The Necromancer army retreated into the FoD, while the elves and Ranu quickly mopped up the fleeing demon cultists.
During the time crunch, Raith happened upon a skeleton key, engraved in red with Valor Morghullis, which he promptly returned to the skeletal ent following in the key’s path.Lahar discovered that the candlestick she took long ago secretly protected an ancient cairn, which has been deemed the Fallen Star cairn. Faced with a few options, Lahar opted to place a hallowed ground stone on the grave, so that the ancient spirits could rest in peace. Upon placing it, a gigantic root snapped off, provoking the wrath of the skeletal ent.
Raven and Malik found themselves bounced around different meetings, providing (most of the time) critical information for the group to assess when the ritual would take place, and how to enter without giving themselves away. They had a close call during the final meeting, and were given a false location due to their suspicious acting.
Finally, Sapphire and Kazahk were given a hidden note, threatening their death if they failed to follow the instructions. Fearing for their safety, they willingly abided, aiding the demon cult for information on when the ritual was.
Aftermath:
Upon a dune you see a small group of people headed towards some ruins in the distance. Arriving at the town, charred sand and rubble stands before them as they cautiously walk through the ruins. They arrive at what used to be a large and magnificent cathedral, and enter through the blown out door. There before them lies a large hallway filled with splintered and burned pews and some granite columns that have broken off and lie in their path. They climb over the pillars and arrive at a toppled statue of a large stone lizard with a sacrificial knife in its back, stained red from the dried blood. Statues of emaciated people lay crushed underneath the fallen state. A man with glowing red eyes orders his minions to take vials, and collect what little drops of blood they can find. They manage to fill up 3 small vials with the blood, and the man with the glowing eyes snatches them and looks at them intensely. “Still in there, are you?” he says as he walks away.
Suddenly the vision jumps forward, and you see a converging of two medium sized armies. They converge on an old stone altar near the border of the forest of the damned with a sigil engraved onto it. Hundreds of undead pace around in the forest as if disturbed from their slumber, and a separate undead army exits the Forest and marches toward the sigil. A group of cultists await them at the sigil, waiting for their opportunity to pounce. The two groups banter and chide one another, but do not clash. Neither wishes to disturb the other, but both are unyielding in their resolve. Footsteps off in the distance distract the two armies, and four score of elves march toward the two armies. Confusion sets in and a large clash of the three armies begins. As the elves charge, A large hound pounces from behind them and slashes two of the cultists into pieces with one swing. Spells fly about and swords clash as the armies collide, putting the talon in great danger.
Meanwhile a group of adventurers, sneaking around watching this take place, watch the ongoing scene as two metamorphosed adventurers head toward the talon. They approach two men, one cloaked man with a plethora of magical tattoo’s burned onto his skin, and another cursed looking man with a giant greatsword and a seemingly quick temper. Looking at Raven, the cloaked man stabs the cursed man in the gut, and quickly teleports with the Talon of Souls and Raven, while also teleporting Sapphire back to Fallenstar.
Raven, in the blink of an eye, is inside a small stone chamber in pitch black darkness. The tattooed man utters something and one of his tattoos shoots out a wisp of light that hovers above his head, which bathes the small room in a warm white light. In the back end of the small sandstone room is a pool of crimson blood. He asks her to take a few vials of it, and to make sure to hold on to them, for he “is going to need them”. After handing them to her, he quickly teleports away again with her by his side. Mountains tower over them as they stand at the edge of a cave inside one of the peaks of said mountains. A dark pool of liquid sits there, and he strips down almost fully nude and steps into the pool of water. His tan skin is riddled with tattoos of various sizes, save for his chest. Asking her to give him the talon and then make him drink the vials of blood after, she hesitates. “But I saved your life, you owe me just this one favor, and I will return you to your home”. After a long pause, she agrees. She opens the talon and hands it to him, and he begins to scream in agony. The talon of souls glows a deep red aura and the pool begins to whirlpool around him as magic seems to sear a new tattoo into his chest. A very large insignia of demonic skull imprints into his chest, larger than any other tattoo on him, and he lays there, limp in the pool. Raven rushes over and forces the vial of liquid down his throat, and the glowing red liquid revives the man after minutes of flowing through his body. He then quickly shoves the talon in her hand, says “You know where to bring this” and teleports her back to Fallen Star.

The Curse of the Gargoyle King
June 2022
It’s Knowleday, and Allahn has called upon all who seek knowledge to answer his Great Question in exchange for his Blessing
The question reads: “There is a man by the name of Ukayanus, who has long departed this world. No one knows how he died or where his bones now lie. His last journal has never been found, and it is assumed he was carrying it when he perished. I have collected all of his original journals and works, and I desire the final one. Tell me where Ukayanus died and bring me his journal and you shall win Allahn’s Blessing”
Some troublemakers disguise themselves (poorly) as two of our Heroes and sneak into the Temple to steal the Copper Gargoyle, hoping to force it to help them figure out the Great Question. Whether purposely or inadvertently, they shatter the poor creature, incurring the wrath of The Gargoyle King. He is enraged at the loss of one of his own, and demands the Heroes pay for what they have done. He curses them to answer 111 questions, paying 100 copper, 10 silver, and one gold piece in order to repair the copper gargoyle.
The Heroes labor through each and every question, though their information magic is greatly reduced by the Curse, and scrap together the final coin to repair the copper gargoyle. When this is done, curiously they do not tell the Gargoyle King that they were never the culprits. So though he lifts the curse, animosity remains, and the gargoyles leave the town for good.
This leaves the Great Question unanswered and the holiday’s end rapidly approaching. Terry and Eon decide to soldier on in the quest for knowledge and undertake the search for Ukayanus’s last journal. In a whirlwind late night effort, they find his last resting place in Bloodspire, seek out his body, and recover the last Journal. Terry, after blasting down the roof of the tavern and being smote himself by the blast, also brings the remains of the once great scholar and puts him to rest in the graveyard.
Thus the Heroes of Fallenstar receive Allahn’s Blessing, which can be found in the Temple for all to use.

DND: Kudzu' Jr.’s ascention
Late summer 2023
Almost a week prior to their final battle with the clay golem, the group of rambunctious and rowdy adventurers were off in the woods together, strategically and carefully luring stray skeletons toward them and killing them quickly via swarming them. Unbeknownst to them, they had wandered pretty deep into the goblin woods’ territory, home of Arboleth and Kudzu Jr. Kudzu jr. seizing the moment, decided to set an ambush party to capture the distracted adventurers.
Later in that same day, the adventurers were attempting to bait out a lone skeleton deep in the old wood forest, seemingly by itself. “Yoo hooooo” Terry clamors mockingly, flicking a little fire in his hand to catch its attention. “Shut up, I don’t think we’re alone.” Lahar says quietly, hushing him scornfully. Lahar looks to Damocles and Valen, and points up at the trees. Raven, being the thief she is, tucks her hood down and crouches down. Kazahk simply looks around, making quiet whistles to an animal, perhaps a dog? Damoclese and Valen look around, but all you hear are birds peeping and crickets chirping. Terry, in his classic impatience, decides to move closer to the skeleton. 3 steps later, his leg gets caught in a snare and he falls face first. Within seconds a rain of goblins come pouring out from the trees, some throwing nets, some bolas, some landing directly on other players. Kudzu jr rises from beneath the ground itself, and immediately entangles Lahar and Damocles, while the rest are quickly tied up.
“Drop your weapons, and you and your team will not be harmed.” Noticing you’re quite outmatched, you decide to drop your weapons. Kudzu jr smirks in accomplishment. Walking up to Lahar, he laughs. “Did you miss the sight of my ass, Human?” The goblin crew snarks and laughs as they guide you all through the woods and into a large cave entrance.
The scene cuts forward to the adventures in the cave, with Kudzu announcing that they have gone soft, and that they must be put to the test before he will even consider talking to them again. He then promptly kicks the adventurers out with no armor or weapons in the middle of the woods.
Immediately, the adventurers kick into action, and head a certain direction until they come into a field crossing, where they find an old abandoned witch hut. Inspecting it, they find no one to be inside, and so they naturally rummage around. Arming themselves, they find the most lethal weapons they can muster; a variety of pots, pans, and even a fork! (RIP Goblin eye…).
Leaving the hut and reentering the forest, now armed and dangerous, a small trio of goblins ambush the crew, jumping from the trees once more. However the adventurers were having none of the mockery they had last fight, and absolutely curb stomped the goblins into the ground. Scenes of Kazahk gouging out the eyes of a goblin with a fork and later decapitating its corpse run through that goblin’s lineage to this very day. The sounds of Terry's pan PANGING off the face of a downed goblin as it’s head caves in from the brute force has surely caused a fear of cooking in the next life.
Continuing through the forest, they search and search for items to arm themselves or allies to help them on their way. Suddenly they run into a giant black stag, which stands almost 10 feet tall and stares them down. The adventurers decide not to fight their stag, as even the mightiest of cookware could not pierce this beast's hide. To their surprise, it was a friend! Although no one discovered his name, his past love with the white doe was revealed to the adventurers, as well as his extremely old and complicated history with Arboleth.
Finding themselves in a refuge for lost creatures (due to the Undead Ent ravaging the forest), they each individually talked to people and stocked up on supplies to go back and hunt down their lost belongings. Many stories were told, and people relaxed and rested for the night.
The next day, they headed through the forest toward the cave in which the goblins first captured them, but they were not alone. A friendly but yappy dog trailed them throughout the woods, alerting all nearby creatures and enemies of their location. A man cloaked in black came up upon the adventurers, thinking it was only one or two easy victims, but he was quickly captured and muzzled by Damoclese’s gorilla grip. After some deliberation, he was interrogated for his information and then knocked out, left there to be picked up by his crew.
Finally they found the cave, and to light up the entrance, Kazahk thought it brilliant to light the yapping mutt on fire and direct it into the cave. But alas, it was voted down. They then tried the good old fashioned creep through the front entrance method, which to their surprise, worked pretty well, until Terry tried to act like a giant cave troll and ended up stumbling in front of the group of goblins. The crew then once again came in to save the day, and thoroughly whooped more goblin butt.
Making their way through the cave with relative ease, they had been growing quite accustomed to kicking goblin butt. However they were no match for the natural gas pit trap, which just so happened to catch Terry. The most responsible fire mage thought it was a little too dark, and thought “How could a little light hurt”. One mega explosion later, Damoclese was left to drag the dead bodies from the trap while Lahar, Valen, and Kazahk attempted to stomp the oncoming digging tunneling goblins.
And in the end, after all of the trials, the pain and anguish, the suffering and challenges overcome, the mockery and goblin face smashing; there was only one solution. Friendship and cooperation. 🌈 ☀️. Negotiations were made, and now we are friends, I guess.

Just a Stone’s throw away:
Late summer 2023
Arriving from the long journey through the intricate cave system Kudzu Jr. had sent them through, they arrived at the crossing between a forest and a magnificently large stone mountain range. Knowing they must find the lost pieces of the tablet for Kudzu Jr., they head up to the town of Stonehaven. They were well received by the locals, and they enjoyed the town and what food and drink it had to offer.
The next day, the adventurers talked to some of the spirits, who in their tradition, were buried and preserved in a sort of cement; a ceremony called “Stone burial”. They quickly realized that this town, although very accepting of guests, was not willing to aid them in their journey one bit until they became honorary members of one of the three factions; Merchant, Warrior, and Religion. Through much trial and sometimes sketchy acts in service of these factions, they eventually were given access to the caverns which those factions control. Each one of them contained a piece of the tablet which they were allowed to sketch on their notebook.
Finally, in the last cavern, they found a large clay golem, with a magical crystalline heart emanating powerful magics from its core. Inspecting it, they decide to try and touch the heart. But alas! Touching a magical giant gem from a golem went as you would expect, with a slug fest! Somehow, the adventurers widdle the clay golem down, and chipped away at it until it eventually crumbled to nothing, leaving nothing behind but the now freed heart of Adaoman. They now had two accomplishments under their belt, finishing the tablet to give to kudzu, and the heart of Adaoman, which coincidentally was the solution to Kudzu Jr.’s predicament in the first place. What will the Adventurers do??
Aftermath:
From the battered clay golem, the adventurers ripped the now glowing heart of Adaoman from its chest, shattering the clay golem in the process. The heart pulses with a powerful magical aura, illuminating the caves evermore with magical energy.
The town of Stonehaven, hearing of this new revelation, has seen its citizens react to this event with mixed reactions. The Adaoman loyalists are all but thrilled to have the heart now somewhat active once more, and not in the hands of the Aerth loyalists. They have promised in the aid of using the heart to restore their former god, and will reward the adventurers if they follow through with that plan.
Some, however, have not taken lightly the restoration of the heart. Aerth loyalists grumble in anger, as their previously felled god has still not yet shown signs of return. The town healer in particular, has called for a special town meeting, in order to rouse up the general populace.
“So we are just going to let some foreigners, those who are non native to Stonehaven, take our beloved god's heart away from its birthplace? So they can MAYBE bring our dear Adaoman back from his slumber? As your town healer, I heed you this warning: do not trust these so called ‘heroes’. They have no intent of restoring our god out of the goodness of their hearts. I sense a strong nefariousness within them, and we WILL return our beloved heart to its rightful place!” A decently large crowd murmurs and whispers in approval, as if he’d slightly won them over.
Walking inside a secluded room, he waves a few of his henchmen over, and they gather around a small table. “Let’s see who this Valen character really is. She’s our way of finding the group, and ultimately the heart”. The healer then smirkes. “I’ll have them squealing their names to me by the end of this, since they refused to do so earlier. Any one of them killed shall be swiftly sent to the sacrificial grounds’.” The henchmen cackle and begin organizing their hunting parties, in search for the Heart of Adaoman. “We have our new tasks, and I will lead the expedition. May we all one day join our masters in eternal life.”
The vision then jumps to another location, to a large and open cave. Stalactites intertwine with roots above that glow softly with bioluminescent light. A fairly large group of goblins huddle around a very large root in the center of the cave, and listen to their leaders every word.
“So they have retrieved the heart, but knowing the group's animosity toward us, they will surely be unwilling to help in our ritual. How foolish it was of me to send them away freely to retrieve such a powerful artifact.” He sighs and shakes his head. “However, this is our situation. The heart must be retrieved, at any cost necessary. For the sake of your kin, you must bring me back that heart!”. The goblin clan clamors and bangs their armor pieces together, and moves out in large scores of goblins.
Moments after the goblins leave the tunnels, Kudzu feels from far above ground tremors, growing ever stronger as time passes. He can sense the undead ent searching for a nearby place to take root, desperate for any kind of spiritual link. Vera, the undead hexologist, knowing the undead ent will soon be dormant, returns west toward the FOD to inform her master of what has perspired.

Raven repented for her thieving ways, begging to mightiest and fairest of them all for their forgiveness. She is now on her way to become a powerful Weaver!
Damoclese was a busy lad, finishing up about 3-4 side quests in one shot! Better late than never I guess!
Kazahk found an old Adaoman temple, which was locked away and hidden by puzzles and trials, which he passed with only 2 minutes to spare! Cutting it close, Eh?
Finally, Valen was seen running around the woods, screaming at some man in the graveyard, and then promptly disappearing for hours, only to come back requesting protection from others. What is this Vixen up to?
Lahar, as legend has it, was taking care of some tiny creature, but we’ve yet to know exactly what it is…
